The Rebbe of Belz came over the weekend to the grave of his father the Maharam of Bilgoria zt"l, buried in the ancient cemetery in Tiberias, along with a large crowd of Belzer Hasidim and thousands of students in his yeshivos.
After reading the fourth book of Tehillim, as customary in Belz, the Rebbe said words of chizuk about the difficult situation prevailing in Israel.
The Rebbe said, "Nowadays when the people of Israel are surrounded by our enemies who wish to harm us, and not only wish to harm us but are actually causing us distress, we are asking of Hashem yisborach, may Hashem break their power, they should all succumb to bnei Yisroel, and may Yisroel will be affected with all good effects and all kinds of favors and mercy".
After reading the kvitlach, the Rebbe instructed to sing the tune 'Acheinu kol beis Yisroel hanesunim batzoro", next to the tomb.
