From mourning to joy: tonight (Tuesday), the invitation to the wedding which was postponed because of the attack that killed Rabbi Yaakov Litman and his son Nathanel HYD.
The wedding of the family of Rabbi Yaakov Litman HYD, which was supposed to take place last night, was canceled and scheduled for next Thursday.
As recalled Rabbi Littman and his son Nathanel Chai HYD, were murdered on their way to a Shabbat Chatan at the groom's family, fiance of Sarah Techiya, Ariel Beigel, and the wedding was postponed.
In a conversation with Behadrey Haredim, Rabbi Moshe Beigel said,the in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Litman HYD, that the family invites all the people of Israel to come and celebrate with them at the wedding: "'Hitna'ari me'afar kumi, is our answer to terrorism, " he said, "we'll be happy If as many people will come as possible. I wish a million Jewish guests will come, although I do not know how they would all get in, 'and no one said the place is too small for me'.
"This is our best answer to terrorism. They will not beat us. We will continue to celebrate and build homes in Israel. Loyal homes, both physical and spiritual."
Last night a chizuk rally took place at Binyanei Ha'umah attended by the groom's father Rabbi Beigel, Rabbi Weiss Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Letzeirim, public officials, Rebbetzin Yemima Mizrahi and more.
The attack occurred on Route 60, near the town of Othniel in the southern Hebron hills – on Friday shortly before 15:00, a Palestinian terrorist opened fire at point-blank range at the Littman family members traveling with the family's vehicle near the intersection of Othniel, north of the intersection of Samoa. The terrorist had waited in ambush in advance.
In the attack three were hurt – the father, Yaakov HYD (44) and his son Nathaniel HYD (18), the son Dvir, 16, was lightly wounded by gunfire in the leg. The mother too was injured lightly.
In addition, the three girls, victims of anxiety, were evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. According to reports, the victim's son reported the incident, and then the terrorist shot him and murder him as well.
