Terror in Monroe too: a young 18-year-old was shot last night (Tuesday), near the town of Satmar, Kiryat Joel.
A young man aged 18, was shot last night at a restaurant near Kiryat Joel. He was slightly wounded in the arm and taken to the Westchester hospital in fair condition. Local police began searching for the shooter.
The young man said: "I was standing in the woods near the store and talked on the phone, then a non-Jew popped out of the bushes and started yelling at me not to move, stand on the spot. He fired two shots at me, one in my hand and one on the back and run ".
Dudi Pannet, the restaurant owner said, "At 9:30, we heard two shots at the store. I went out to see what had happened, and a minute later a wounded man came running to the store and yelled that a non-Jew had fired two shots at him. An employee of the store, Hatzalah paramedic, immediately treated the casualty."
