Meital Ohana, wife of the late Amir z"l, who was found dead in Uman, Ukraine, participated in the event "Women of the Likud" held tonight (Monday) at Kfar Hamaccabiah.

The event was attended by the prime minister's wife, Mrs. Sara Netanyahu, who lit the second candle of Hanukkah and delivered a speech: "On Hanukkah we praise the heroism of our people which renewed its independence ... The story of Hanukkah is more topical than ever, as our nation continues to drive the darkness away, still fighting for its existence and spreads light and good for the world".

Ohana, who spoke too, thanked Mrs. Netanyahu for her operations and support while her husband was absent in Uman - to locate his body and bring it to Israel for burial. "I received a lot of support and love from the Prime Minister of Israel, Binyamin Netanyahu, and his wife Mrs. Sarah, who is dear to my heart," said Meital. "It's not obvious, the aid I received to find Amir, bring him to Israel and his burial in our country, were all done modestly and quietly. Even today, Mrs. Sara Netanyahu strengthens me and takes care of my family and my children. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart."

As recalled, last September, after days of extensive searches, Ohana was found in a lake in Uman, with Sabbos clothes on his body. Evaluations showed that while dipping his feet in the water, he had an epileptic fit and fell into the water, where as stated, he died. He was 28, leaving his wife and three daughters.
