Accident in New York: a 65 year-old Jew was badly wounded by a motorcycle in Boro Park on Friday.
A motorcycle crossing 8th Avenue on 60th Street in Boro Park in the south-western part of Brooklyn, New York, hit a pedestrian who was transferred to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
The accident occurred at about 5:35 (local time), while the pedestrian was trying to cross the intersection and was hit by a motorcyclist.
The pedestrian was taken to the regional hospital, suffering from a severe head injury and in serious condition. JP site reported that the motorcycle rider crossed a pedestrian crossing at a red light, and thus hit the pedestrian.
