Another tragedy in the disastrous chain in the Haredi sector: the prominent Mrs. Chaya Devorah Rosenberg a"h of Zichron Yaakov passed away this evening (Monday), having suffered from flu. She was 46 at her demise.

This morning she felt ill and was hospitalized at Hillel Yaffe Hospital, where her health deteriorated rapidly, until she returned her soul to its Creator.

The deceased AH was born in Bnei Brak on 8th Teves 5730, to her father Rabbi Mordechai Kofberg and her mother, Mrs. Yehudis, for many years she worked as a kindergarten teacher in her home.

Her husband Rabbi Yitzchak Rosenberg is a prominent avrech in the community kollel in Zichron Yaacov who studies diligently at all times and is one of the most important families in the community.

Zichron Ya'akov community members tell Behadrey Haredim she was a righteous woman who gave her whole life to raise her children to Torah, yiras shomayim and good deeds, they are shocked by the sudden death which is difficult for them to digest.

The deceased z"l is survived by her five children who were left motherless.

Her funeral procession will leave tomorrow (Tuesday) at 13:30 noon from her home on 834 Ramat Zvi Street to the Shomrei Shabbos cemetery in Zichron Yaacov where she will be interred.

May her soul be bound in the bond of life.

Epidemic?

Last week, Mrs. Bat Sheva Baumel AH, 35 years old from Petah Tikva, passed away in the prime of her life hours after being admitted to hospital. She also apparently died after she fell ill with the flu.

Allegedly she had flu of the H1N1 type known as swine flu. She is survived by five orphans, and was buried in the Segula cemetery in Petah Tikvah.

These cases are joined other cases where 52-year-old Esther Aryeh, was hospitalized for a month in hospital in Petah Tikva and medical teams tried to save her but in vain.

Another 26 Belz hassidish woman in Jerusalem caught the flu and was hospitalized in serious condition at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. There was a slight improvement in her condition.

Another woman aged 38 from Modiin Illit, Ms. Sheina Chaya Kugel, the wife of the avrech Rabbi Tuvia Kugel, a mother of seven children, is hospitalized at Maayanei HaYeshua in Bnei Brak. The public is called to pray for Sheina Chaya bat Rivka among all the ill.
