Senior Palestinian arrested on suspicion of espionage

An official at Saeb Erekat's office, was arrested by the Palestinian security forces for allegedly spying for Israel.
The suspect was employed in the Department of negotiations for 20 years, and before that worked in the office of Secretary of the PLO Executive Committee.
According to the report of Gal Berger in the network Kol Israel, the suspect was arrested two weeks ago and admitted having leaked information to Israel during the negotiations.
Erekat confirmed the report, but declined to provide further details.
