"I was arranging products on the shelves of the store ahead of the storm so that residents of the community will have food," said yesterday to Behadrey Haredim Motti Shalem, who pushed the terrorists with the store cart. "Suddenly I heard strong screams: terrorist, terrorist attack! Arab attack!"

"I ran to the entrance of the supermarket and saw two women lying in a pool of blood on the nearby path, I realized it was a terrorist attack. Suddenly emerged in front of me at the entrance to the supermarket two terrorists with knives, trying to stab me while shouting Allah Akbar. I didn't hesitate for a moment and took a carriage while trying to chase them away.

"In those moments I felt wild, thoughts were running through my head: either I push them with a supermarket carriage, or escape backward and they would go in to slaughter buyers. There were ten people in the supermarket", continues Shalem, "I do not want to think what would happen if the terrorists were successful. We were saved by a miracle. It could have ended in a massacre and a major disaster."

"Once I was able to chase them away, we chased after them in order to ensure they wouldn't harm elsewhere in the settlement, and while we are conducting a pursuit they were shouting Allah Akbar and throwing blocks, stones, firecrackers and pipe bombs. The security officer the settlement who was called to the scene killed them, and the police disarmed the firecrackers and the charges thrown at us".

"If I did not have a cart to chase the terrorists you would not be talking to me," concludes Shalem, "I will bentch Hagomel with kavanah".
