Israeli Prime Minister will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and members of the German government in Berlin

Meeting between the governments of Israel and Germany - Israel and Germany will meet today (Tuesday) in Berlin for the sixth time, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The Prime Minister, ministers and directors general of government departments will meet today with the German Chancellor for a series of discussions and the signing of bilateral agreements for further strengthening of relations between Israel and Germany.
Government consultations will focus on cooperation in security, cyber, technology, science and R & D, regulation, digitization, energy, futuristic transportation, global social responsibility, health, medical technology, a relationship between the societies, gender equality and other issues.
Jerusalem notes positively the progress made since the previous round of consultations which took place in Jerusalem on February 25, 2014.
The sixth meeting between the governments of Israel and Germany, indicates the depth and scope of cooperation between the countries, on the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Both sides agree that 50 years have been characterized by a constant strengthening of bilateral cooperation between all sectors of society.
On the German side will participate: Chancellor Angela Merkel; Economy and Energy Minister Sigmar Gabriel; Foreign Minister Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier; Minister of Interior, Dr. Thomas de Miiziir; Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection, Heiko Mass; Health Minister Herman Grog; Minister of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Security, Barbara Hendricks; Head of the Chancellery, Minister of Chancellor Peter Altemeyer; Sub-Secretary for Transport and digital infrastructure, Dorothy Bar; Undersecretary of Education and Research, Thomas Rachell; Parliamentary Undersecretary of Thomas Silverhorn.
On the Israeli side participants are the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; Minister of Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources, Dr. Yuval Steinitz; the Minister of Justice, Ayelet Shaked; Absorption Minister Ze'ev Elkin; Minister of Housing, Yoav Galant; PMO, Eli Groner; Director General of the Ministry of Justice, Emmy Pelmor; Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Dorie Gold, Director General Ministry of Transport and Road Safety Uzi Yitzhaki; Director General of the Ministry of Economy, Amit Lang; the head of the National Cyber, Dr. Evyatar Matanya.
