Shuafat: 14 Year Old Terrorist Arrested on Way to Attack

14 year old boy tried to leave Shuafat without inspection and was arrested when a knife was found in his possession. The boy admitted that he was planning to attack Jews.
A border policewoman atop a look out point spotted a youngster climbing over the gate of Shuafat in an effort to reach Jerusalem while avoiding inspection. Soldiers were apprised and found the boy. A concealed knife was found on him. The suspected minor is an Arab resident of Shuafat. He was taken for interrogation.
The captain of the Northen Branch of Border Patrol praised the police for alertness and said, “The police are working on a standard of heightened awareness which has proved itself again and again. The alertness of the soldier at the lookout, and their professionalism prevented an attack. We will continue doing our important work for security.”
