Good News: The Infant Daniel Chaim -was Released from the Hospital
Four month old Daniel Chaim Gerson, who it seems was shaken by his babysitter, and was subsequently hospitalized at Schneider Children’s over two weeks ago- was released from the hospital.

Schneider Children’s: 4 month old Daniel Chaim Gerson , whom it is suspected was shaken by his baby sitter, and was hospitalized for about 2.5 weeks was released to his home today.
Daniel’s father said: “Daniel Chaim was released today from the hospital, yet we still have a long way till rehabilitation, but all this devoted care, all the Tefilos of the Jewish Nation, the great resonance, the big hug- have brought us to this moving moment.”
The father thanked everyone who prayed for his son and added,” Parents need to be discerning, to ask questions. Guard your treasures.”
Doctor Elchanan Nachum, department head of the PICU at Schnieder Children’s said,” I remember the day that Daniel Chaim came to us, we were very worried. Today, it’s almost unbelievable to see him like this, I have no doubt that in the future he will return to himself. “
Professor Shai Ashkenazy, head of the one of the children’s wards said,” I am overjoyed to see Daniel Chaim leave for home, a happy and smiley child. I wish the family that they raise him with joy.”
2.5 weeks ago the baby was sedated and on a respirator, later on there was improvement and he was moved to a regular ward. Today he is going home.
