Turkey : Serious Travel Warning Following Terror
In wake of recent bombing, the counter terrorism unit has upgraded the security warning for travelling to Turkey to a level 3 warning.

A message from the counter terrorism unit states,” In the recent months there has been a noticeable increase in the threat of terror in Turkey which has been seen in the scope of the terror attacks in recent months, specifically referring to suicide attacks by the Kurdish underground and Islamic leaders in Turkey, primarily in Istanbul and Ankara.
The counter terrorism unit referred to the deadly bombing on Shabbos as,” a tangible illustration of the threat of terror attacks against tourist sites in Turkey.”
It has been decided to upgrade the threat of terrorism in Turkey from 4 (ongoing potential threat) to 3 (concrete threat) and therefore to update its recommendation to citizens to hold back from travelling to Turkey.
