Tens of Thousands of Belzer Chassdim Gather in Arena
Historical Gathering of Chassidei Belz in the Arena Stadium. The Admor Joined at Midnight the Rebbe’s son who addressed the crowd burst into tears.

During the event Harav Yisrael Stern of London addressed Jerusalem’s mayor, Nir Barkat and his staff, thanking them for their contribution to last night’s success. He said,” I am breaking with my regular minhag and speaking in Ivrit even though I am not familiar with the language.”
He also read a letter of Bracha to the minister of interior, Aryeh Deri saying, “About him it is said, blessed be the one who glorifies His name in public. Do not fear. If there is persecution learn from us. This is a segulah for success.”
After the Admor’s arrival Aryeh Deri came up to receive his bracha. The Rebbe asked him to mention both his name and the name of his mother and then he blessed him with success in all his endeavors.
MK Yisrael Eichler, Deputy Minister Meir Porush, and MK Menachem Eliezer Moses also received certificates of thanks
