New York: Israeli Chassid Stabbed in Subway
A Yerushalmy was stabbed numerous times in his neck while resting on a bench in the subway.

According to reports a Yerushalmy in his 50’s was stabbed numerous times in his neck while sitting in the subway station in New York. He told the police that he had fallen asleep sitting on a bench and woke up to find himself being stabbed by someone demanding money.
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police investigators are currently searching the area for the assailant. An interpreter was sent to the hospital to assist the police in gathering information of the attacker

According the Jerusalem Post the victim was dressed in Chassidish clothing and was stabbed in his neck, face and arms.
The police have announced that the attacker is dark skinned and wearing an orange shirt.
