Tragedy in the Mikvah
Just before Zman Hadlakas Neiros, Harav Hachasid Yeshaya Eliezer Yorowitz z”l collapsed and died in the Toldos Aharon Mivkah.

Harav Hachasid Yeshaya Eliezer Yorowitz, a respected member of the Toldos Aharon Chassidus collapsed and died in the Meah Shearim Mikvah close to Zman Hadlakas Neiros. Hatzalah volunteers along with MDA arrived on the scene and attempted to resuscitate him. Two Avreichim alerted Yerushalyaim’s Zaka captain, Harav Ben Tzion Orange who hurried to the scene.
Unfortunately the resuscitation efforts were not successful, and there was no choice other than to pronounce his death. Orange managed to intervene and prevent his body being taken for an autopsy. Minutes before Shikah the body arrived at the Shamgar funeral home, with Harav Orange returned home on foot.
Harav Yorowitz was 66 years old, he was a brother of Hagoan Rav Yakov Mendel Yorowitz, a member of the Eidah Charedis.
His Levaya will be held tonight (Motzai Shabbos).
