Donald Trump received 60% of the vote in the Republican primaries; Hillary Clinton received 58% of the Democratic vote.

Sweeping Victories for Trump and Clinton in New York

Sweeping victories for Trump and Clinton in the presidential primaries in New York yesterday. Trump had more than 60% of the vote beating his rivals Ted Cruz, a senator from Tezas and Ohio Governor John Kaisch .

At his victory speech Trump said, "Thank you New York, we love New York…we will celebrate for two hour and then get up early in the morning and get back to work."

Hillary Clinton, beat Brooklyn born Bernie Sanders tacking 58% of the Democratic vote. In her victory speech she said, "There is no place like home. During my campaign I have had victories in all areas of the country- but this is a personal victory. New Yorkers- you have always had my support and I am proud to have yours. To all Sanders supporters I say that there is much more that unites us than divides us.
