BY Student Launches Kosher Phone Fund
A Bais Yakov seminary girl living in northern Israel has established a fund to help people trade in their cell phone- for a kosher one.

The struggle against the dangers of technology has led to some original new ideas.
Yesterday a seminary girl called into Rabbi Chaim Walder's "Eitzos Mehachayim" show on Kol Chai Radio. She wanted to let the public know about the fund she has established to encourage people to break away from Smartphone usage.
Her fund will allow those who are trading in their "tomech kosher" to purchase a fully authorized kosher phone for 50% of the price. She is sponsoring the full cost of a kosher phone who those who are giving up their kosher phone. This initiative is for the aliyas neshama of Yehudis Shalva Eizner , daughter of the sofer Mattisyahu Gleizserson.
Her funds are rapidly dwindling and so she was happy to raise over 20,000 Nis during the program yesterday.
