"My wife and I were sitting on a bench on Hanevi'im, with our double stroller nearby, waiting for the relator we were supposed to meet. While we were waiting a man stopped near by us. At first I wasn't concerned but something about the way he was standing made me suspicious. I looked up to get a better view of him when suddenly he pulled out a knife. "
Frank resourcefully managed to prevent a serious attack against his family. "When he came to stab me I jumped on him form the bench and he stabbed me in my shoulder. All the while he was screaming "Allah Akbhar". He tried to stab me in my chest but I managed to repel him. It was a miracle. When he saw that he was not able to overpower me he threw his knife at my head and ran for his life. That was another miracle- I wasn't wounded by the knife-just bruised.
"Policemen in the area saw what happened and chased after the terrorist. In the meantime Hatzalah arrived and took care of me. They took me to Sharei Tzedek.
He added,"After I was stabbed I checked that my wife and children were ok. The children saw everything and were in shock. " As was his wife.
"A woman who sees her husband stabbed before her eyes isn't a simple thing. In truth what went through my mind when he stabbed me was, "just don't let him get to my wife and kids!"
"I don't even want to think about what could have happened."

Frank was released today from the hospital. "I am still recovering both physically and emotionally from what happened. You need a lot of kochot hanefesh for this."
