Accomplices Arrested in Stabbing of Harav Yisrael Luban

Three accomplices in the Old City stabbing attack earlier this month have been arrested. They are being accused of aiding in the escape of terrorist who stabbed Yisrael Luban a few weeks ago.

Immediately following the attack the terrorist escaped through the Old city streets, he encountered two of the accused. One man accompanied him towards the Flower Gate, showing him the way. On the way the terrorist told his accomplice that he had just stabbed a Jew. When they saw that the gate was heavily guarded, one of the suspects offered to help the terrorist escape the Old City. The entered a residential complex in order to hide from the security cameras.

Two other suspects came to help, one later brought the terrorist into his nearby home and supplied him with a change of clothing and helped him clean himself from any telltale blood stains. Once police arrived in the area one of the suspects alerted the terrorist to escape. He was transferred to a nearby home where he was later arrested.
