Rabanim Performing Leket , Shichicha, and Peah
Three Rabanim went to perform these rare mitzvos that weren't possible last year due to Shmitta.

On Friday Harav Shlomo Ben Shimon, Harav Moshe Dovid Lefkowitz and the Chidef Rabbi of Pardes Katz Harav Menashe Zlicha went to perform the rare mitzvos of Leket, Shichicha and Peah.
Harav Menashe Zlicha explained that "after a wait of two years the time has come to perform the mitzvos of Leket, Shichicha and Peah , since the year before was shmitta and the land was not worked. Due to the fact that we are in the first year of the shmitta cycle the public does not have a pruta chamura to redeam masser sheini, and neta revai from grain wine and oil."
