Harav Steinman Decided: Postpone the New Law Regarding Teaching Hours
Harav Kessler, Rav of Moddin Illit went to discuss the "Oz L'tmurah" reform with Harav Shteinman today. Harav Shteinman decided to postpone the implementation of the reform.

After meeting with Harav Shteinman it was decided to postpone the "Oz L'tmurah" program of Misrad Hachinuch, so Bechadry Chardim has been told.
Hundreds of charedi teachers have come out against the new reform that was promoted by Shai Piron. The program is meant to be implemented in the charedi system for the coming school year. It is already functioning in the secular system.
As was reported earlier in Bechadry Charedim there is organized opposition to the reform which seeks to up the weekly hours that teachers work from 24 weekly hours to a full 40- with disproportionate compensation.
