A proposal of Yesh Atid MK Meir Cohen received the surprising support of Mk Uri Maklev of Yahadut Hatorah.

According to the proposal of MK Meir Cohen students and yeshiva bachurim will be entitled to vote in their place of learning.
The logic behind his proposal is the fact that many college students and Yeshiva bachruim do not take advantage of their right to vote since their place of learning is often far away from their home voting district.
Mk Uri Maklev has joined Meir Cohen in his proposal. If the proposal is accepted ballots will be placed in places of higher learning, including yeshivos, that have over 300 students.
This proposal could prove to be a tremendous financial savings to the political parties who have been bussing bachurim all over the country to vote.
