Bennet: “Time For Actions”- Netanyahu: “Not For Shooting From The Hip”
At the opening of todays’ ‘Bayet Yehudi’ session, MK Naftali Bennet called on PM Netanyahu to work towards annexing Maleh Adumim- Netanyahu retorted back saying, “this is the time for responsible diplomacy”

At the opening of the ‘Bayet Hayehudi’ session this morning, Chairman of the party MK Naftali Bennet called on the PM Benyamin Netanyahu to work towards annexing Maleh-Adumim and to establish Israeli sovereignty over the area.
MK Naftali Bennet started by saying: “The united states has entered a new era now; as well, the state of Israel has also entered a new era this week- of new security”.
Placing the responsibility on PM Netanyahu, he said, “an historic decision stands before PM Netanyahu: Either sovereignty or Palestine. Either sovereignty or ISIS along highway 6”.
Stressing the cosmic opportunity at hand he continued “we call on PM Netanyahu not to miss an opportunity of once in fifty years. We will give the PM all the backing necessary to act with courage and determination”.
Bringing proof from the past, Bennet quoted the 1981 annexation of the Golan heights by then PM Menachem Begin. “today we all know that he was right” Said Bennet.
He finished by stressing the urgency of the moment, “this is a time to act not for excuses”.
A short time later, at the Likud session PM Netanyahu responded to MK Bennets’ remarks saying, “I feel the expectations coming from many citizens, and it’s well understood.
After eight years that I have faced tremendous pressure on many topics, especially the Iranian problem, and the settlements, I certainly welcome the change of approach.
We are standing before great and significant opportunities for the future and security of the state of Israel. However, they demand that we act responsibly, so that we don’t spoil the moment and the opportunity’s”.
He finished of by saying “With Hashems help, and with your help, with discretion and patience, we will enter the new era in which we will continue strengthening our security, our economy, our settlements and our foreign relations”.
