IDF Retaliates To Gaza Rocket Fire: Hamas Threatens “We Won’t Tolerate The Aggression”
In Retaliation to a rocket that was fires at the Shar Hanegev region this morning, the IDF bombed and destroyed 5 terror positions in Gaza. Palestinian reports claim 4 people were moderately injured in the air-strikes

Terrorists from the Gaza strip fired a rocket into Israel during the pre-dawn hours this morning. The rocket landed in the shar Hanegev region and B’’H caused no injuries or damages. In retaliation to the rocket attack the IDF bombed and decimated 5 terror positions in the Gaza strip. According to Palestinian sources, 4 people were moderately inured in the air strikes.
The IDF released a statement this afternoon saying: “At 1:00PM this afternoon IAF Jets attacked and destroyed 5 positions belonging to the Hamas terror organization in the Gaza Strip. The attack was in retaliation for a rocket which was fired into Israel this morning…The Hamas terror organization is the sovereign power in Gaza Strip and is therefore responsible for any terror acts perpetrated from the Gaza Strip”
According to Palestinian sources approximately 15 positions were targeted. The positions belong to the Az-Adin-AL Kassim brigade, the armed wing of Hamas; west of the Nosriat refugee camp, as well as positions in the cities of Rafiach and Kahn-Yunis.
Hamas put out an official statement saying: “Israel holds full responsibility for the escalation and aggression against civilians and opposition forces. We will not accept the continuation of the aggression against positions of the opposition forces, and the escalation…no matter what the price will be.”
Spokesman for the Palestinian health Ministry, Ashraf Kodra, reported that 4 people have been transferred to the hospital in moderate condition.
