Despite his advanced age and recent health complications, moving pictures emerged tonight of Hagaon R’ A”L Shteineman learning with his great grandchildren. The family shared with “Bechadrei Chareidim” that his situation has significantly improved

The entire Jewish world has been davening for the wellbeing of the Rosh Yeshiva, Hagaon R’ A”L Shteineman, these past few months- after he was hospitalized in critical condition.
B’’H the Rosh Yeshiva recovered and was recently discharged from the hospital to his home on rechov Chazon Ish in Bnei Brak.
Since he was discharged, almost nothing has been herd about the Rosh Yeshiva. Tonight (Wednesday) the community merited to get a moving peek into the holy abode of R’ Shteineman.
“Bechadrei Chareidim” received pictures that show the Rosh Yeshiva, despite his advanced age and despite recently being hospitalized, sitting and learning in his home with his great grandchildren.
Family members shared with “Bechadrei Chareidim” that the Rosh Yeshiva’s situation has significantly improved. They also added that “on erev Rosh Chodesh, Maran went to the large minyan in his home for Yom Kippur Koton”.
The family explains, “There are two minyanim in the house- one in his room and one in the living room. The minyan in his room came about because the minyan in the living room became very big; as we have said, on Monday the Rosh Yeshiva went out to the big minyan”.
The family also shared with “Bechadrei Chareidim”,“that yesterday the Rosh Yeshiva left his house and walked on his own two feet to his car on the way to recite Bircas Ha’ilanos”.
On the communal level as well, the family shared that the Rosh Yeshiva is active and that “Harav Noson Zachobovsky arrived at the Rosh Yeshiva’s home yesterday, for counsel on matters pertaining to Degel Hatorah”.
The Rosh Yeshiva also signed a letter today for Talmidei Yeshiva who are gathering in Binyanei Hauma in Yerushalayim.
“To the Bnei Hayeshivot hakdoshot who toil in Torah who are gathering in Yerushalayim, Hashem Aleyhem Yichyeh”, was how he opened his letter.
“I was happy to hear that you are getting together to honor the Bochurim who have merited to finish the Masechtos that they have been learning, they should be happy that they can be planted in the house of Hashem. Everyone should see to it to also take advantage of bein hazmanim. Even if it is necessary to help out at home, but the remainder of the time you need to learn and be shakuah in Torah”.
“Signing with a bracha that all of you should go up in Tora and yirat shomayim, letiferet b’yisroel kir’atson Hashem yisborach”.
