Why did 1000 businessmen arrive with a computer at the Beis Midrash?

Over 1000 people showed up on Thursday night at the Beis Midrash of the Karlsburg Rav, Hagaon R' Yechezkel Rota, in Boro Park, while each one of those present is carrying a laptop or a cellular Smartphone, with the purpose of fixing a "filter" for internet.

The initiative of the Karlsburger Rav, was aimed at businessmen who "cannot do without".
At the Beis Midrash, tens of computer professionals waited for the participants, and disconnected them from internet, adjusting a filtering device according to their different needs.

"It was a moving occasion," testifies one of the organizers in a talk with Behadrey Haredim. The Rabbonim and Rebbes have been shouting against internet, the Askanim and Chinuch people have been battling with drop out youth whose number increases gradually. The Rebbes will hold a huge assembly on Rosh Chodesh Sivan which will deal with the harms of technology, but no one has yet done anything: businessmen, doctors and other professionals, who need the internet.

"The experts we brought sat with each one and heard about his needs, and accordingly they fixed the filter.

The event was opened with fiery words from the Karlsburger Rav, who talked about the harms of the internet and technology.
