USA Jewry will join fight against "Enlistment Decree". Exclusive
On a phone call between the Rab"d of the Eda Hareidis, Hagr"m Sternbuch, to the Satmer Rebbe and Rosh Yeshivas Lakewood, Hagr"m Kotler, it was decided: A path of crying and protest among the USA Jewry against the "Enlistment Decree"

After the early morning rally of the Eda Hareidis, sharp letters written by Gedolei Yisroel and the instruction of Hagaon R' Ovadia Yosef to cancel the Bein Hazmanim vacation in Yeshivos, the Hareidi residents of the USA also came to join the battle against the Enlistment Decree of the Hareidi public in Israel.
From information which reached Behadrei Hareidim it stems that yesterday during the early evening hours (Israeli time, Y.A.) a phone call took place, in which the Rab"d of the Eda Hareidis, Hagr"m Sternbuch, the Satmer Rebbe and Harav Yaakov Rota, the secretary of the Eda Hareidis, who was the one to connect between the two and was on the line.
During the talk, Hagr"m Sternbuch and Harav Rota explained to the Rebbe Mahr"y from Satmer that the new law which rules to enlist Hareidi men is a threat to the Torah world, the Yeshiva bochurim and avreichim. "This is a real decree," they said. "One must protest and try to stop it with all our might".
During the talk which lasted a few minutes, the three discussed together how to sound the protest against the affront against the public of Torah learners. Finally it was decided to add a fourth person to the phone call – Hagr"m Kotler, Rosh Yeshiva of Lakewood.
Together they decided to go out to a mutual battle in all the Hareidi concentrations in the USA, in which Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshivos will sound their cry and protest against the decree which hovers above the Torah world in Israel.
One of the Satmer Chassidim told Behadrei Hareidim that over the next few days, a Krias Kodesh of the Satmer Rebbe against enlistment is supposed to be published, and in addition Tefilla rallies are planned in different areas of the USA.
In the "Der Yid" newspaper, a wide article which will review the issue is planned for this week.
