At the Ohr Haganuz village, to the foot of the Meiron Mountain, a hareidi boy of 15, resident of the place, fell from a horse on which he rode – and was badly injured. Hatzala team, Ichud Hatzala Galil and MDA gave him first aid, and he was evacuated in a harsh condition by helicopter, to the Rambam hospital in Haifa.
The MDA spokesman Zachi Heller informed that at 12:15pm the MDA Jordan district received a call about a boy who fell from a horse on which he rode close to Ohr Haganuz. MDA paramedics gave first aid to the boy who was injured when the horse he rode slipped and fell. An MDA helicopter evacuated him with a serious head injury, under anesthesia and artificial respiration.
Yosi Zelikovitz from Ichud Hatzala – Galil told Behadrei Hareidim: "Close to noon time we were informed about a casualty at the entrance to Ohr Haganuz. When we arrived on scene we saw hareidi youngster who fell from a horse he rode without a helmet – and was injured in a medium to severe condition. I and other paramedics of Ichud Hatzala from Meiron gave him first aid, and he was evacuated for treatment by helicopter".
The public is asked to daven for the boy Michael Yosef Chaim ben Yifat for Refuah Shleima among all other ill.
