On Mesilat Yosef street, Modiin Illit, a harsh road accident occurred on Friday: a pedestrian child was hit by a bus.
At about 7:33am, a ten year old child burst onto the road. A passing bus hit him; he was treated by the Ichud Hatzala and MDA paramedics, and was evacuated with a severe head injury, unconscious and on a respirator to the Tel Hashomer hospital.
Zvi Lashinsky, a volunteer paramedic of Ichud Hatzala related: "When I got to the scene, the child was unconscious after being hit by a bus. I and other paramedics gave him primary treatment. Eye witnesses said that the child had, for an unknown reason, burst onto the street and then was hit by the bus. The child was evacuated in a severe condition".
