Shortly after Shabbos spread its wings, the Red Color alarm was sounded in Netivot, following a Grad rocket which was fired from the Gaza Strip. The rocket exploded in the courtyard of a house in the city, one person suffered of anxiety and was evacuated for medical treatment. Minor damage was caused to the structure.
In response, aircraft of the Air Force attacked three goals of terrorist organizations in Gaza on Friday night: one in northern Gaza and two in the center. The IDF said that precise hits were identified in targets.
The extremist organization Salafi "Shura al - Mujahideen" claimed responsibility for firing the Grad rocket at Netivot. The organization affiliated with al - Qaeda, issued a statement that "despite the fact that occupation planes are circling over Gaza, many spies are deployed on the ground and security forces in Gaza are after us - our men managed to fire a Grad rocket at Netivot."
• At the Reshafim intersection at Beit She'an area a traffic accident occurred, a motorcyclist of 31 years old slipped beneath a vehicle, was rescued by the fire department in a moderate to severe condition with a head injury and multi-system damage, and was evacuated by MDA by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
• On Highway #60 near Bat Ayin a car accident occurred, a motorcycle rider, 26 years old, capsized, an MDA Jerusalem team took him in serious condition to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Circumstances of the accident are investigated.
• On Zalman Shazar Street in Netanya an accident occurred, a 26-year-old motorcycle rider was injured, evacuated by MDA ambulance to Laniado hospital in the city, where he died from his injuries.
• On Highway # 57 near the interchange of Nitzanei Oz an accident occurred, a 50 year old pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle, MDA paramedics provided medical care to the casualty whose condition was severe, but after resuscitation efforts he was pronounced dead.
• On Maginei Aviv street in Lod a 40 year old Lod resident was evacuated to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Zrifin when he was wounded in a fair condition, the background and circumstances are being investigated.
• To the Government Hospital in Nahariya, a man of about 40, resident of the city was brought wounded, after falling from a horse while riding, his condition is defined as light to medium, and he is bruised.
• On Herzl Street in Hadera it was reported to MDA of a woman injured by gunfire, Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical care to the casualty who is in her 50's, in a fair condition with a gunshot wound in her hand, and she was taken to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera. Her husband who shot, and is a security guard was arrested by the police and his gun confiscated.
• A 74 year old resident of Ma'alot who rode a scooter in the city was hit on Thursday by a car which crashed into him from behind. He was evacuated in a harsh condition to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where he died of his injuries today.
• Vice Premier Ya'alon criticizes the Defense Minister Barak on dealing with the U.S. on the Iranian issue today, and says that he "preferred political considerations over national ones."
• The official Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Ramin Mihemnfarst, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, said that his country is willing to be flexible in the nuclear talks, in order to reduce Western concern about Tehran's nuclear program.
• 24 people were killed on Saturday in Syria by security forces who fired at opponents of President Bashar Assad, in the Hama and Idlib provinces. According to the report, eight members of one family were executed in Idlib.
• In a suicide bombing in northwest Pakistan, at least ten people were killed. The attack was apparently carried out by Taliban activists who tried to hurt the militia established by the government in order to fight terrorism in the region.
