Mazal Tov. Chosson cut by Chupah glass, treated – and returned to celebrate
Paramedics who were called to treat a casualty at a wedding, discovered the injured is the Chosson himself. During breaking the glass under the chupah, he got a deep cut in his foot

Volunteer paramedics of Ichud Hatzala Elad were alarmed this evening to treat a casualty who was injured in the function hall of Nachshonim Kibbutz.
Efi Razker, Ichud Hatzala paramedic who arrived on the scene discovered: the injured is the chosson himself, who was injured in his foot while breaking the glass under the chupah.
He was bandaged quickly by the paramedic and taken by the family, accompanied by the volunteer, for stitches at the medical center in Elad, where he was further treated by Ichud Hatzala and a doctor.
Retzker related: "This is a 29 year old chosson who broke a glass at the Chupah and one of the glass splinters went into his shoe and cause a considerable cut in his foot. The family members feared they would have to stop the chassunah and evacuate the chosson to hospital, but I calmed them down and turned them to the medical center in the close-by city of Elad, accompanying them in my car. The treatment at the clinic lasted for about 15 minutes, at the end of which the chosson returned to the hall to continue the celebrations".
