Shooting again in the south and assault in Gaza

Tonight (Tuesday) just after 1:00 an air raid system was operated in Sderot and several other settlements. 5 Qassam rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip.
Police said that the rockets exploded in open areas without causing casualties or damage. Home Front Command called on residents of the area around Gaza to stay within shielded areas.
Shortly thereafter, Palestinian media reported that the Air Force aircraft attacked the site of the Hamas military wing in the northern Gaza Strip, and apparently there were no injuries.
Izz al - Din al - Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for the fire rocket.
The IDF Spokesman said that "Air Force aircraft attacked a terror activity center during the night in northern Gaza. Precise target hit was identified and all our planes returned safely to their bases." They added that the attack is a response to high trajectory fire at Israeli territory.
Yesterday (Tuesday) a Qassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in the yard of a residence community Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. Two people were treated for shock.
The rocket according to witnesses fell a few feet away from a home, causing extensive damage. No injuries were reported.
"The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers and will continue to operate against anyone who activates terror against the State of Israel," the IDF Spokesperson said "Hamas is a terrorist organization and hold all responsibility."
