Moetzet Hachachamim approved the agreement which brings Deri back to head Shas. The battle ended with an agreement: no chairman, triple leadership. Yishai, Deri and Atias held press conference

Members of the Moetzet Chachmei Hatorah of Shas – Harav Shalom Cohen, Harav Moshe Maya and Harav Shimon Ba'adani – gathered tonight (Wed.) at the home of the president of the Moetzet, Hagr"o Yosef in Har Nof, Jerusalem, and decided to approve the agreement which bring Deri back to head the movement.
First came Harav Shalom Cohen, who arrived at exactly 21:00pm. Afterwards, the rest of the members joined.
Before the gathering, the two sides, Eli Yishai (who turned into a grandfather tonight) and Arye Deri, held a tête-à-tête meeting, in order to tie all loose ends and come to an understanding.
After long and tedious negotiations, a decision was reached according to which there will be no appointed chairman of the movement (possibly after the elections) and the members of the movement will not be numbered at this stage.
The numbering will be done once the date of handing in the lists to the Central Election Committee will arrive, hoping that until then the sides will work it out and will compromise about the rating of places.
According to the decision of the members of Moetzet Chachmei Hatorah, headed by Hagr"o Yosef, from now on Shas has no chairman, and three heads will lead the party – Aryeh Deri, Eli Yishai and Ariel Atias – the reading is supposed to be in this order (after all, in the Aleph Beis, Deri comes before Yishai).
After the decision, Eli Yishai, Arye Dri and Ariel Atias held a press conference.
During the press conference, Deri said: "There are no losers, everyone is a winner. There are no more leakages, no disputes, it will be boring".
Eli Yishai said: "Ze hayom asa Hashem nagila venismecha bo. Aryeh, you're coming home. The strength of Shas over other parties is Da'as Torah, we are like one man with one heart".
Ariel Atias said: "Welcome back, Harav Arye Deri. Today we can see how one can overcome sediments. I was witness to the talks, I was surprised. It was not an easy period, and thank G-d it's behind us. I started the maneuver to the request of Harav Ovadia, who wanted unity, unity, unity. The main message which comes out of here is – going out on a new path. Despite the fact there are those who think that the unity won't succeed – it will succeed".
During the press conference, Deri turned to the media and said: "I will take advantage of you, with your permission: there are no more disputes, all the activists wake up".
And Yishai joked: "Aryeh, come back to work. You haven't worked for a long time". Deri brought up memories: "I remember Yishai with a black beard".
Outside the home of Hagr"o Yosef in Har Nof, many gathered, as well as a group of demonstrators who stood in front of the house and whose people called to refrain from bringing Deri to head Shas.
After the three members of Shas came out, riots and shouts broke out from supporters of both sides.
