Surprise in Viznitz: Last Friday, the Rebbe instructed all the yeshiva bochurim and avreichim of the Chassidus to say Tachnun at Mincha Gedola at lunch time.
Until today, the Minhag at Viznitz was not to say Tachnun at Mincha, and only for a certain period – at the time of the Rebbe the Imrei Chaim and the beginning of the Rebbe the Yeshuos Moshe zt"l – they said, until it became slack.
Today (Sunday) after the announcement of the Rebbe to correct the matter and say Tachnun again – they will start saying it in all the Yeshivos.
Meanwhile, the Viznitzer Rebbe is staying in Tzfat these days for a rest, in the apartment of the wealthy Harav Boruch Vider. Last Shabbos, the members of the Chassidus choir stayed with the Rebbe, and last night (Motzaei Shabbos) the Rebbe came to daven at the Rashbi in Meiron.
