After Strauss food company - dairy giant Tnuva, also announced a raise on the prices of its products • Sunfrost, Maadanot, Mama Off, Adom Adom and Olivia will be raised by an average of 4.6%

Tnuva has announced that it will raise the prices of more than half of its milk products by 2% to 3.5%.

Currently there will be no increase on cottage cheese and products are under supervision which is supposed to rise in early November.

Tnuva also announced that the prices of Sunfrost, Maadanot, Mama Off, Adom Adom and Olivia will be raised by an average of 4.6%.

This increase is due to an increase in input prices and raw material prices rising and the increase in production costs, including electricity, water, fuel, and other taxes within the last year.

Eyal Ofer, a founder of the movement, "Yisrael Yekara Lanu," says that "the increase of produce prices, a day after Strauss, shows that the food production market in Israel is a cartel controlled by the companies.

"Only one way remains for Israeli citizens: reducing purchases because prices are rising. That is the only way the message will be passed on to leaders of the economy: We are choking.

Strauss joined the last wave of food price increases yesterday and announced its raising of dairy products: Ski cheese at 5%, Danny and Gemadim by 3.5%, milk drinks by 4% and Yotvata enriched milk by 3%. The price of Milky will not change. Coffee, pastries, chocolate and other Elite products and Achla salads will not increase.
