A Meshulach from Bnei Brak who came to Los Angeles, California to raise money, was critically wounded on Thursday night.
The accident occurred on South Central Avenue when the Meshulach came out of the car of the driver, who drove him to the homes of donors, on the left side of the vehicle - the side of the road. A passing private car which sped by hit him, and threw him to a distance of about 20 meters.
The Meshulach was badly injured and the driver immediately called the local Hatzala organization. Police and rescue forces arrived at the accident scene, and the Meshulach was rushed to a local hospital.
On Friday morning the Meshulach had surgery, and is still in critical condition.
The public is asked to daven for the Refuah Shleima of Avraham Simcha Ben Yutah Pessil.
