This evening (Sunday), will be the take off of the Vizhnitzer Rebbe to the U.S. for an extended visit.
At the heart of the visit, the wedding Simcha of his grandson, son of his son-in-law Harav HaTzadik Boruch Shimshon Hager, Ab"d of Vizhnitz - Monsey in Israel.
It was planned at first that many chassidim from Israel will join the journey, but the Rebbe instructed that Melamdim and Klei Kodesh will not join.
At Shalosh Seudos this Shabbos, the Rebbe asked his followers to daven for the success of the journey. "The trip is for the institutions," he said, "yesodo beharerei Kodesh (it has holy foundations)"
Before leaving for the U.S., the Rebbe will attend the housewarming of the hall of a new Yeshiva Gedola "Yeshuos Moshe" in Elad which was opened at the beginning of winter Zman.
On Monday, the Rebbe would land at JFK.
In the evening a central reception will be held at the Beis Midrash of Vizhnitz in Williamsburg. On Wednesday afternoon a reception at the Talmud Torah Yeshuos Moshe, Williamsburg, and on Friday the Rebbe would travel to the Catskills Mountains for a private Shabbos with the Negidim of the Hassidus who contributed over 50 thousand dollars or more.
On Sunday the Rebbe will stay in Boro Park at the Nagid R' Yosef Hertzano and will daven Shacharis at Beis Midrash of Vizhnitz.
On Wednesday there will be a reception for the Rebbe at the Yeshiva Ketana hall and on Thursday at the Talmud Torah.
The following Shabbos the Rebbe will stay in Boro Park. The tefillos and Tishim will be in a huge hall – 34 Avenue Utrix – which contains thousands of standing and sitting places.
On Sunday will be the central dinner 'Zichru Lanetzach' in the Ateres Golda hall in favor of the Union of Viznitz Institutions.
On Tuesday the Rebbe will arrive in Monsey, where the event of cornerstone for the new Beis Midrash will take place. On Wednesday will be the Simcha of "Chosson Mahl" for his grandson, and on Thursday the great Simcha of the wedding, followed by a Shabbos in Monsey.
