Residents of the Ganei Geula neighborhood (Monday) couldn’t believe their eyes, when they noticed a municipal inspector running after an orthodox young man.

The inspector, who handed out parking tickets for vehicles parked illegally, bumped into a young man who refused to accept the parking ticket given to him. The inspector explained that the report has already been registered, and cannot cancel it.

The guy was furious with the controller and in response decided to act: He 'snatched' away his ticket book and began to run through the alleys.

The inspector chased after him, but it was too late.

"He ran after him for a minute," says an eyewitness in a conversation with B'Chadrei Charedim, "But when he realized the guy was determined, he gave up and returned empty handed."

The inspector left the place - and complained about the incident to his officers.

Earlier this year, a similar incident occurred in the Mea Shearim neighborhood in Jerusalem, a similar debate rose between the neighborhood resident and the inspector. Then as well the resident snatched his ticket book, and within seconds disappeared through the alleys of the neighborhood.
