Apparently, according to party sources, that behind the scenes intense talks are being held, and according to information - that he has no official confirmation - Mofaz intends to do what Eli Yishai did: giving the role of chairman over.
According to the same information, Ehud Olmert and Tzipi Livni will return to Kadima, creating a block of left-center, like Likud-Beiteinu. The two met in recent days several times, today they also sat for over an hour - so far they have not officially announced a decision one way or another.
The meeting tonight was held at Olmert's office in Tel - Aviv. At the end the two took out an official notice that "Given the current situation in Israel which has deteriorated in all areas, it is necessary to replace the government."
