There was a surprising statement this (Wednesday) afternoon during a prayer dedicated to the recovery of Harav Yaakov Chai Yoseph.
The Mekubal, Hagaon R' Yaakov Ades, told of a statement heard in a conversation at the hospital, a long time ago, from Harav Yosef on the Emanuel affair, "If I knew that the affair will reach places as it did, in the first place I would not put myself there."
The prayer rally was held on the graves of Hachida and Hag"r Mordechai Eliyahu zt"l, buried side by side at Har Hamenuchot in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem. Many rabbis and the family of Harav Yaakov Yosef visited the graves to supplicate in prayer for him.
