The population in Israel will very soon cross the symbolic number of six million Jews and eight million people in all.
Today, 5,996,500 million Jews are living in Israel, and according to the forecast the increase in the number of Jews living in the country is expected to climb to six million within days.
Newspaper Ma'ariv, publishes the data, said that 73 percent of the Jews living in Israel are native.
Of all the residents of Israel 75.5 percent are Jews, 20.5 percent are Muslims and the rest Christians and other religions.
