The Lelover Rebbe declares war on Smartphone devices and the Internet • in a conference held on the subject yeshiva students were required to fill in a questionnaire and list their technological devices

The Lelover Rebbe is joining the war against Smartphones and the Internet. Tonight (Motzei Shabbos) an awakening conference was held against the devices, at the Chassidus Beis Medrash on Hashomer Street in Bnei Brak.
At the conference the yeshiva students were asked to fill in a questionnaire, checking if they have a Smartphone device, Internet or computer at home. A Rabbis Committee appointed by the Rebbe will go over the data and monitor it. .
On Friday night the Rebbe published a letter in the Beis Medrash of Chassidim against the devices.
"The instinct of man is renewed every day," wrote the Rebbe, "and the War of the inclination is renewed and increased from day by day in different variations and different ways, one not similar to another, even tricks by the evil inclination and attempts renewable in our generation, odd tools and great experience which our forefathers did not think would concern the point of Judaism. And know what our sages said about the generation that Ben David came in the footsteps of the Messiah."
"And things have gone overtop in the last generation's trial that is increased and increased, until the day to day strategies loosen world posts and introduce world war vessels and tactics among the houses of Israel who are afraid and whole cities which were walled in houses until now against them."
"Therefore we accelerated and urged a committee of Rabbis from our community Shlit"a and I lean on them to find out and tackle the demands and inquiry to stand on the best and the direct and beneficial to each and everyone in general and in private, and may Hashem guard us and the purity of amnesty."
"And I request that you take upon yourselves and your household to observe and do all that the Rabbanim Shlit"a tell you and not allow the evil inclination to reach your homes."
