More than 100 rockets landed in Israel since the wave of escalation began • 47 casualties were treated, three of which were hit by shrapnel • Dozens suffered from anxiety, especially in Netivot

Due to the escalation in the south, the MDA CEO held a special assessment on Motzaei Shabbos, which raised the alert level in the districts of Lachish and Negev areas to C (the highest) and in Ayalon to B.
Until the evening, over a hundred Qassam and Grad rockets, which caused more than 47 casualties, were fired at southern Israel.
Yesterday (Sunday) MDA forces treated 10 casualties, including two men aged 50 who were injured by shrapnel all over their bodies, as a result of rocket attack in Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council, and taken in an light condition to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba.
Sderot MDA teams treated a man who was lightly injured by shrapnel in his face, and in Ashdod they treated a 60 year old woman who was bruised on her way into the protected space, and 6 suffering of shock.
Today MDA teams treated 37 trauma victims after a rocket hit Netivot structures. Among the casualties was a man of about 60, a heart patient, who felt chest pain after the falls, and another 36 anxiety victims who were treated on the scene, and evacuated for further treatment if necessary.
