Diary: Since the beginning of the operation 110 rockets were fired
since the beginning of 'Pillar of Defense' military operation, Hamas fired 110 rockets • Iron Dome system recorded 35 cases of interception • three terrorists were killed in Khan Yunis

Since the assassination of Hamas chief of staff Ahmed Jabari, and the opening of 'Pillar of Defense', about 110 rockets were fired at southern Israel, 36 cases were successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome system. Since midnight some 26 rockets were fired into Beer Sheva and surrounding areas, but there were no injuries from the direct hit.
In total so far the rockets caused injuries, 6 slightly injured from broken glass, and 30 suffered from anxiety.
During the night, Palestinians reported dozens of air and navy strikes, in most cases without casualties.
In the IDF attack this morning, around 6:00, in the Sg'aih neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, a rescue services spokesman in Gaza reported that five people were injured, including a pregnant woman and 2 children.
A few moments later an aircraft fired at a motorcycle in Khan Yunis, and three were killed. Apparently it was a group of terrorists who were on their way to fire rockets.
An Air Force aircraft fired during the day and night at dozens of underwater launch systems –medium range (up to 40 km) which was severely damaged. Moreover, warehouses which housed weapons were attacked.
Navy fighters also fired at targets on the coastline belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.
Attack goals: to disrupt launch capabilities of terrorist groups and hit their power. Targets attacked were identified by accurate intelligence and according to specific pattern in recent months. A large part of the weapons storage sites were located in civilian residential buildings. This is further evidence of the pattern of the Hamas terrorist organization and the use of the population in Gaza as human shields."
Hamas spokesman announced on his Facebook page that since the assassination of Jabari, 11 Arabs were killed, including two children, a pregnant woman and an old man, and wounded about 100 people including 15 children and 18 women.
During the night, Palestinians held a demonstration in front of the Israeli embassy in Ankara, against IDF operations in Gaza. During the demonstration Hamas flags were waved and the ihh flag- the infamous Marmara Flotilla.
Hospitals alerted in northern Sinai has been following the Egyptian Government message to Hamas that Egypt is ready to receive wounded from Gaza.
At 4:00 AM the UN Security Council convened at the request of Egypt, to discuss the 'Pillar of Defense'.
