Hagaon Reb Chaim Kanievsky arrived tonight (Motzei Shabbos), as is his custom on Motzei Shabbos, at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, to fulfill the mitzvah of visiting the sick by Rabbi Mordechai Zekbach from Modiin Illit, hospitalized after a car accident and was moderately injured two months ago.
During his visit, he also went to the room of Shmulik Scharf, who was in hospital after being wounded on Thursday with a direct hit from a missile at his home in Nachlas Har Chabad in Kiryat Malachi - and lost his wife Mira hy"d.
Reb Chaim blessed Scharf with the blessing of a speedy recovery, and asked the names of family members who were injured by the missile, to pray for them.
Rabbi Chaim also consoled Shmulik for the death of his wife Mira hy"d.
