Flash exposure by the ISA: This evening (Thursday) partial publication was permitted, that the ISA revealed within hours the perpetrators of the attack on the bus in Tel Aviv – which injured 29 civilians.

Joint operational activities of the ISA, IDF and Israeli police arrested last night organizational members, mostly from Beit Lakiha in the Ramallah area (near Highway 443).

Members of the organization are identified with Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and they admitted their consent to participate in terrorist activity against Israelis, on the Tel Aviv destination selection, preparation of the device and purchasing mobile devices for remote control.

Interrogation revealed that they recruited an Israeli citizen (who won citizenship under family unification) Taybeh, to get the device into Tel Aviv, while using his employer's vehicle - a resident of East Jerusalem.
After the Israeli Arab placed the device on the bus, he updated his operators; his operators called from their cell phone and operated the device.

Investigation is still in its midst and more arrests are expected.

On Friday morning, two suspects were detained for extension at the Jerusalem Magistrate's court. One suspects detention was extended for ten days, and the second - four.

However, a gag order on the full details of the case - including the names involved - still exists.
