Tonight, at about 19:00 a youngster was shot in an attempt of settling scores on Jabotinsky Street in Bnei Brak.
"I was on my way to the city of Petah Tikva as a ZAKA volunteer, after a fatal accident occurred there," says a volunteer, "suddenly an anonymous stopped us and shouted to us that a man was shot. On the other side of the road we saw a man coming out of the cars and a spot of blood on his back.
Zaka paramedics, Hatzala Gush Dan and Ichud Hatzala, immediately treated the casualty who complained he could not breathe, and soon he lost consciousness.
The man who was shot is at the age of 30, and is well known to the police and was apparently shot by motorbike rider.
He was taken in a serious condition with 3 gunshot wounds in his leg, upper back and chest to Tel Hashomer Hospital. Police are investigating.
In Petach Tikva an accident occurred when a young man of 22, resident of Samaria, tried to cross the nearby public transportation route close to the pedestrian crossing at the corner of Jabotinsky and Denmark streets, he was hit by a bus and killed instantly.
Yisrael Godlewski, Zaka commander of the Sharon, said: "We received a report from the Zaka call center about a pedestrian critically wounded by a bus, I arrived with a team of ZAKA Petah Tikva on the scene of the accident. The victim was lying on the road dead, unfortunately there is no week without someone seriously injured on this road, this year ZAKA volunteers treated dozens of injured and a number of people who were killed on the same road in the public route. ZAKA volunteers treated the deceased and collected findings."
A little earlier, another fatal accident occurred. On Highway 4 from Yavne to Ashdod, close to the Ashdod intersection, an accident occurred between a number of vehicles, paramedics of Ichud Hatzala South gave medical treatment to a mortally wounded person who was captured and later died of his wounds, one severely wounded, and four wounded with minor injuries.
