The Securities Authority investigated the businessmen Shalom Fisher, Leo Noe and Matthew Bronfman on suspicion of using insider information when purchasing securities of the companies 'Superssl 'and 'Isralom' in trading on the Tel Aviv stock market, according to a report in "Kalcalist" magazine.

These are investigations against three prominent names in the Israeli business community.

Bronfman and Fisher were interrogated under caution last month at the offices of the Authority. Noe who lives in London, was questioned more than once in recent months.

According to the report, these are two different investigations. Noe was questioned in connection with the purchase of 0.3% of Supersal two days before he signed with Bronfman and Fisher an agreement to acquire control of Supersal from Discount Investments, controlled by Nochi Dankner.

Bronfman and Fisher were interrogated regarding the purchase of the bonds they own of Isralom stock exchange company and through which they were to acquire control of Supersal together with Noe. The two are suspected of having purchased bonds of Isralom together for a million shekels a month before the deal, when bonds rose by up to 20% following the signing of the deal.

The Authority's investigation against the three has gone on for nearly a year, when during the period several inquiries were made with them.

Last month, it was decided to summon Bronfman and Fisher for questioning under caution, probably in light of new information received on the subject. Last week, another episode which the authority is investigating, exploded - suspected stock manipulation by Nochi Dankner, around the issue of IDB shares in February. Dankner himself was questioned under caution.

Bronfman and Fisher said in response: "We were and we are always working according to the law. Law is our guiding line. We are confident that the investigation will prove that."

All attempts to get a response from Leo Noe failed. Security Authority said in response that "we do not respond to questions on investigations and intelligence."
