After 20 years • 'True Noah's Ark' was launched in Netherlands
In Dordrecht, the Netherlands, an actual size Noah's Ark was completed • The Ark is filled with animals, some real and alive • The builder's next project: a canal from the Mediterranean to the Dead Sea

After 20 years, yesterday Dutchman Johan Huibers completed the construction of Noah's Ark in actual size.
Huibers is a Christian with used book store and knowledge of construction.
He decided to build Noah's Ark with the specified size mentioned in the Bible, and the ship is now docked in Dordrecht, south of Rotterdam.
The Ark also contains an array of stuffed animals, such as buffalo, zebra, gorillas, lions, tigers, bears - you name it, as well as real life animals.
"I want to get people to study the Bible," said the builder. "I know the story of Noah," said one visitor, "but if you see it you start to get an idea of how it was in practice."
Now after completing Noah's Ark, Huibers devotes his energies to promote a project that will transfer water from the Mediterranean Sea to the Dead Sea. "If you have faith, anything is possible," he says.
