Why did the 'Ahvas Yisrael' zt"l rebuke his son the 'Imrei Chaim'?

Why did the 'Ahvas Yisrael' zt"l rebuke his son the 'Imrei Chaim'?

The Nadvorna Rebbe from Jerusalem visited the Vizhnitz Rebbe in Bnei Brak yesterday, in order to receive his blessing in honor of the Bar Mitzvah of his youngest son.

An interesting conversation developed between the Rebbe's. At first they spoke about the names of the Gedoilim, who the Bar Mitzvah boy is named after. In addition they also spoke about the yarzeit of the Beer Mayim Chaim zt"l which took place yesterday.

The Vizhnitz Rebbe spoke with longing: "I was there (at the tomb of the Beer Mayim Chaim at the ancient cemetery in Tzefat) a number of times, and I enjoyed being there on Shabbos. Today it is impossible to enter the cave due to the overcrowding and rocks which accumulated there. Therefore I stand outside when I am there."

Later on the Nadvorna Rebbe told of an interesting anecdote: "It was in the year תרצ"ה, when my grandfather the Nadvorna Rebbe zt"l visited in Eretz Yisrael, when he davened in Jerusalem on Shavuos at the Kossel, together with the holy brothers from Vizhnitz (the Imrei Chaim and Damesek Eliezer) who also visited in Eretz Yisrael, and on the second day arranged a special minyan for those from abroad.

"When the Imrei Chaim returned from his visit, he described to his father the Ahvas Yisrael zt"l his impressions, everything was on the best side, and he even had a minyan for the second day. In response his father said: You are telling me this with happiness? If I were in your place I would be embarrassed to say I am from abroad and I would have locked myself in my room and davened alone."

The Rebbe's also spoke about the various minhagim of placing Tefillin, especially concerning the Chassidic courts, where Nadvorna is one of those where it is custom to wear Tefillin a month before the Bar Mitzvah.

Later on the Vizhnitz Rebbe wished Lechaim, blessed the Rebbe and the Bar Mitzvah boy on occasion of his simcha, and granted him a gift.
